For your first Giftronaut ACH or wire funding request, enter the name that will appear on the bank transfer as the Remitter Name. Confirm that wording with the person arranging the payment before submitting the request. This field is mandatory for the first request.
Ask your finance colleague for the sender name that will appear on the actual transfer. Avoid guessing from a campaign label or an email signature. This is a practical preparation recommendation, not a claim that Giftronaut requires a particular corporate naming format.
For a planned Giftronaut Choice Card campaign, coordinate the funding preparation with finance. A useful handoff separates three questions. Who is arranging payment? Which name will the transfer show? Which funding request is that payment intended for? The person answering those questions may be different from the person managing employee rewards.
Keep the transfer name separate from the invoice number and reference account number. These are different information items, even if your internal payment instructions display them together. Do not put a payment reference into a field asking for a name.
Suppose a fictional company is preparing its first employee holiday campaign. The rewards coordinator has the campaign budget, while finance controls the bank payment. Before starting the request, the coordinator sends finance a short preparation note:
| Information | Question for finance | Suggested record |
|---|---|---|
| Transfer sender | What name will appear on the payment? | Confirmed wording |
| Payment owner | Who will initiate the transfer? | Responsible colleague |
| Intended request | Which invoice and reference belong to this funding? | Existing request details |
| Amount | What amount has been approved for this payment? | Approved funding amount |
| Status | Has the bank payment actually been sent? | Confirmed status, not an assumption |
This is a suggested internal worksheet. It does not describe an additional Giftronaut form or a list of documents you must upload. Its purpose is to make the handoff understandable to the people involved.
If finance cannot confirm the sender wording, leave that question open and resolve it before submitting an answer. A plausible-looking name is not a substitute for checking the transfer information.
A rewards coordinator may not know which company account finance intends to use. In that situation, ask finance to identify the planned payment source and the displayed sender name. Do not assume that any particular parent company, subsidiary, or third-party payment arrangement is accepted.
If the proposed arrangement raises an eligibility question, contact Giftronaut support before proceeding. Describe the situation without sending full bank account credentials or online-banking access details. Ask what information is needed through the appropriate channel.
The published Remitter Name requirement does not, by itself, establish which payer arrangements Giftronaut will accept. It also does not promise a processing time or guarantee that providing a name resolves every funding question.
Giftronaut does not withdraw ACH or wire funds directly from your bank account. Your organization must initiate the transfer through its bank. Treat completing the funding request and making the bank payment as distinct actions.
Agree who owns each action before passing the work between teams. A short status note such as “request prepared; bank payment not yet sent” is more useful than an ambiguous “funding done.” These are suggested handoff labels, not additional dashboard statuses.
Email funding@giftronaut.com with the company name, funding amount, reference account number, and invoice number. Send this notification after the transfer has been sent.
Funds remain Pending in the Account Balance tab until payment is received and posted. Once the balance updates, the account receives an email confirmation and a browser push notification. Use the recorded funding state when coordinating the next campaign step rather than treating the notification email as proof of available funds.
Prepare the first request with finance, using confirmed transfer information and a clear owner for payment. Then follow the funding status through to the posted balance before treating the preparation work as complete.
Your organization initiates ACH and wire transfers through its own bank. Giftronaut does not withdraw those funds directly.
The Remitter Name identifies the name appearing on the transfer. The invoice number is a separate payment detail.
Ask the finance colleague arranging the payment to confirm it. Avoid filling the field from an unverified assumption.
The email provides payment information to Giftronaut. Funds remain Pending until payment is received and posted.
The account receives an email confirmation and a browser push notification. Check the Account Balance tab for funding status.
