Cancel a scheduled Giftronaut Choice Card order before it is sent, then verify the order status and recipient details before placing a replacement. Once an order is fulfilled, Giftronaut does not allow cancellation, returns, exchanges, or refunds.
The first question is whether the order is still scheduled or has already been sent. Giftronaut allows scheduled orders to be canceled as long as they have not yet been sent. After fulfillment, the order cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.
This makes timing the most important operational check. Do not rely only on the calendar date or the original scheduling time. Open the order and verify its current status before changing your campaign plan.
For example, an illustrative employee-reward order scheduled for Friday may still be cancellable on Thursday. If the order has already been fulfilled earlier than expected, the cancellation option may no longer be available.
Clarify what needs to change before canceling:
If only the send date changed, review whether canceling and rebuilding the order creates unnecessary operational work. If the recipients or amounts are wrong, compare the existing order with the corrected spreadsheet before taking action.
Do not assume that canceling automatically edits the original order. Treat cancellation and replacement ordering as separate steps, and verify each one in the account.
A scheduled order is cancellable only while it has not yet been sent. Capture or record the order status, scheduled date, and order identifier before canceling.
This is especially important for bulk campaigns, where a small timing difference can affect many recipients. If the order is close to its scheduled send time, check the status immediately and avoid delaying the decision.
Compare the scheduled recipient list with the latest approved file. Check names, email addresses, duplicate rows, removed recipients, and anyone who should receive a different amount.
A Choice Card reduces the need to know each recipient’s country before sending. Recipients select their country and currency when redeeming, then choose from rewards available there. That flexibility does not remove the need to maintain an accurate recipient list.
Each Giftronaut product has a minimum and maximum order amount. Some products use fixed denominations, where the minimum and maximum are the same value.
Before rebuilding an order, verify that the intended amount is valid for the selected product. About 86% of the Giftronaut catalog uses whole-number price increments, according to Giftronaut internal statistics dated September 22, 2026. For those products, an amount such as $25.50 cannot be ordered.
These restrictions matter when replacing a bulk order with different reward values. A corrected file may contain amounts that need rounding or separate treatment.
Giftronaut orders are prepaid. The account must have sufficient funds before an order can be placed, and funding can be added by credit card or invoice paid through ACH or wire transfer.
Before canceling, identify how the replacement order will be funded. Do not assume that the canceled order’s funds will be immediately available or automatically arranged for the replacement. Check the account balance and Giftronaut’s current account records before submitting a new order.
If the scheduled Choice Card includes Cash Options, check whether the campaign still needs that feature. When the sender enables Cash Options and covers the fee, the fee applies to every recipient in the order, including recipients who redeem a regular gift card instead.
A replacement order should match the approved fee treatment. Otherwise, the new total may differ even when the recipient count and reward values remain unchanged.
Use this sequence before changing a scheduled bulk order:
This process separates the decision to cancel from the decision to reorder. It also creates a simple record of changes for finance, people arranging the order, and customer support.
A Choice Card can be useful when recipient locations are uncertain because recipients select their country at redemption. Giftronaut states that recipients choose from rewards available in their selected country and currency.
However, country-specific gift cards work differently. Giftronaut gift cards are country-specific and cannot be redeemed in another country, even when the same brand operates there. For example, an Amazon.co.uk gift card cannot be redeemed on Amazon.com in the United States.
If the scheduled order uses a specific branded card rather than a Choice Card, verify the intended country catalog before canceling and rebuilding. Some countries require client-level enablement before branded cards appear in a particular account’s checkout dropdown. A supported country may therefore be missing from one account until it is requested from Giftronaut support.
The safest time to change a bulk Giftronaut Choice Card order is before it is sent, while its status remains scheduled. Start with the status, then verify recipients, amounts, funding, product rules, and optional fees.
If the order needs replacement, cancel only after the corrected campaign file is ready. Choice Cards simplify uncertain recipient locations, but they do not eliminate country-specific rules for branded products or the need to validate every bulk-order detail.
You can cancel a scheduled order while Giftronaut has not sent it. Fulfilled orders cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Canceling does not mean a replacement order has been created. Prepare and review any new order separately.
All Giftronaut orders are prepaid and require sufficient account funds. Accounts can be funded by card, ACH, or wire transfer.
Recipients choose their country and currency when redeeming a Choice Card. They then select from rewards available in that location.
Country-specific Giftronaut gift cards cannot be redeemed in another country. The same brand may still use separate country products.
Some countries require account-level enablement before branded cards appear. Contact Giftronaut support if the country is missing at checkout.
Check the recipient file, amounts, order limits, fees, funding, and scheduled status. Review the replacement summary before submitting it.
