Two Ways to Send PayPal and Venmo Payouts

Add cash as one choice among gift cards, or make it the reward itself.

Add Payouts to a Choice Card

Turn on Payout Options when you send a Choice Card. Each recipient picks a gift card, a prepaid card, or a PayPal or Venmo payout where available.

Recipient covers (default): the fee applies only if they choose cash. You cover: the fee is charged upfront for every recipient.

Explore the Choice Card

Send a Payout Directly

Pick PayPal or Venmo from the Branded Card catalog and send it as the reward. Every recipient gets that payout option.

Every recipient receives a payout, so the redemption fee always applies. You choose who covers it.

PayPal and Venmo Payout Fees

Gift cards and prepaid cards carry no redemption fee. Cash payouts are the one reward type that does, and you decide who covers it.

Recipient covers (default)You cover
Redemption fee

6%, minimum $1 per recipient

4%, minimum $0.25 per recipient

Choice Card with Payout Options

Deducted only when the recipient chooses cash. Gift card choices redeem in full.

Charged upfront for every recipient, even those who choose a gift card.

Direct payout

Deducted from every reward.

Added to your order total. Recipients get the full amount.

Example: a $50 Reward

Recipient covers$47.00

Recipient receives $50 minus the $3.00 fee (6%).

You cover$52.00

You pay $50 plus the $2.00 fee (4%). Recipient receives $50.

You cover, Choice Card to 100 people$200.00

Fee charged upfront for all 100 recipients ($2.00 each), whatever they choose.

Recipients cover the fee by default. To have your account cover it, contact support@giftronaut.com. Minimums apply to small rewards: a $10 payout loses $1.00 when the recipient covers it, and a $5 payout costs $5.25 when you cover it. Funding fees are separate: ACH and wire are free, and credit card funding carries a 3% processing fee. See pricing and the Payout Options help article.
