Void an ACH or wire funding request after a holiday campaign changes

Void an ACH or wire funding request after a holiday campaign changes

If a holiday campaign changes, you can void an ACH or wire funding request from Giftronaut’s Account Balance tab using Void Funding Request. Giftronaut says this request can be voided without contacting support. If someone has already arranged a bank payment, check that payment separately before deciding what to do next.

How do you void an ACH or wire funding request after a holiday campaign changes?

The relevant Giftronaut control is in the Account Balance tab. Find the ACH or wire funding request you intend to change, then use Void Funding Request. This is the specific request action described by Giftronaut; it does not require a support contact.

Before choosing the request, compare its details with your own funding records. That is a recommended check to help you identify the intended transaction. It is not a claim that Giftronaut provides a separate campaign reconciliation tool or approval sequence.

The practical question is which request your team no longer needs. A changed holiday budget may affect one request while another remains relevant. Identify the particular request rather than treating every funding item as part of the same change.

Keep the request, payment, and reward order separate

These three records answer different questions:

Record Question to check
Giftronaut funding request Which request did your team intend to void?
Bank payment Has anyone already initiated a payment through the bank?
Reward order What is the actual status of the reward order?

Giftronaut does not withdraw funds directly from the customer’s bank account. ACH and wire transfers must be initiated through the customer’s bank. Therefore, do not use the funding-request action as evidence of what happened to a separate bank payment. Ask the person responsible for that payment to confirm its actual status.

Likewise, avoid describing a voided funding request as a canceled reward order. If the question concerns a reward order, check that order’s own status and applicable terms. This guide addresses the funding request only.

Record the reason for the change

A short note can make the revised funding decision easier to explain. As a recommendation for your team’s own records, include the request you reviewed, the reason for changing the campaign, the revised budget, and whether a bank payment needs separate follow-up.

Keep confirmed facts apart from open questions. For example, “the campaign budget was reduced” is different from “the bank payment has been stopped.” Record the latter only after the responsible person has confirmed it.

This note does not need to be a new product workflow. An existing finance record can be sufficient. The purpose is to avoid a second person arranging replacement funding while the first payment remains unresolved.

Apply the distinction to a holiday change

Consider an illustrative campaign whose recipient list becomes smaller. The team can update its planned reward budget and identify the funding request associated with the earlier plan. If it chooses to void that request, it can use the Account Balance action described above.

Now consider a campaign whose launch date moves. A date change alone does not tell the team whether funding is still required. Review the revised plan first. If a bank payment was already initiated, confirm its status separately before arranging another payment.

These examples are suggested planning checks, not descriptions of automatic cancellation, refund, or bank-recall features. They do not establish that a payment will be returned or that an existing reward can be changed.

Check available funding before sending

Giftronaut orders are prepaid, so the account needs sufficient funds before an order can be placed. Funds appear as Pending until payment is received and posted. Once the balance is updated, Giftronaut sends an email confirmation and a browser push notification.

Use the actual available balance and the revised campaign requirements when deciding whether more funding is necessary. Avoid treating a request amount or a planned transfer as confirmation that funds are available. If the records do not agree, resolve that question before promising a send date.

Conclusion

Use the Account Balance request control for the specific ACH or wire request you want to void. Then review the bank payment and reward order as separate records. A clear distinction helps your team plan its next funding step without assuming an unconfirmed cancellation or refund.

FAQ

Where can I void an ACH or wire funding request?

Use Void Funding Request in the Account Balance tab. Giftronaut says this action does not require contacting support.

Does a voided request prove that a bank transfer was canceled?

Do not treat the request action as evidence about a separate bank payment. Confirm that payment’s actual status with the person handling it.

Does Giftronaut initiate ACH or wire transfers from my bank?

Giftronaut does not withdraw these funds directly from your bank account. You must initiate ACH or wire transfers through your bank.

Should I arrange another payment immediately after changing the campaign?

First compare the revised budget with available funds and any unresolved payment. This is a recommended planning check, not an automatic Giftronaut process.

Can I place an order while funding remains Pending?

Giftronaut requires sufficient funds before an order can be placed. Pending funds remain pending until payment is received and posted.

Is voiding a funding request the same as canceling a reward order?

This guide describes the funding request action only. Check a reward order’s actual status and applicable terms separately.
