No fee gift cards for employees and clients are what you need when one budget has to cover a whole team and a client list. They’re cards your company buys at face value, with no activation, setup, or per-card fee on top. The Giftronaut Choice Card, Amazon.com, Target, and Walmart cards all qualify when you buy them through a platform that charges no per-card fee.
Which corporate gift cards have no fees?
Brand gift cards and the Giftronaut Choice Card cost your company face value, with no platform, setup, or per-card fee. US prepaid Visa cards add no activation, redemption, or monthly fee either. The fees that do exist sit outside the card, in how you fund the account and in cash payouts.
| Card | Company pays | Recipient pays | Where it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Giftronaut Choice Card | Face value, no per-card fee | Nothing on gift cards; a payout fee only if they cash out to PayPal or Venmo | The brand and country the recipient picks |
| Amazon.com | Face value, no per-card fee | Nothing | Amazon.com only |
| Target | Face value, no per-card fee | Nothing | Target stores in the US and Target.com |
| Walmart | Face value, no per-card fee | Nothing | Walmart stores and Walmart.com, US only |
| US prepaid Visa | Face value, no per-card fee | No activation, redemption, monthly, or inactivity fee | The United States, including Washington, DC |
| Global Visa Reward Card | Face value, no per-card fee | Nothing on USD purchases; 6% on purchases in other currencies | Visa merchants abroad, except countries under US sanctions |
| PayPal or Venmo payout | Face value, plus 4% (minimum $0.25) if you cover the fee | 6% (minimum $1) if you don’t, which is the default | The recipient’s PayPal or Venmo account |
The choice that matters is which card each person will actually use.
Four no-fee corporate gift cards, card by card
The Choice Card, Amazon.com, Target, and Walmart all cost face value through Giftronaut, and recipients pay no fee to use them. They differ in who picks the brand and where the card works, so the right one depends on who you’re gifting.
Giftronaut Choice Card
With a Choice Card, you set the amount and each person decides where to spend it. It fits a mixed team, or a client whose favorite store you don’t know. Most Giftronaut orders placed from January 2025 to August 2026 were Choice Card orders.
You stay in control of the options. Before you send, you can filter the brands recipients see by category, country, and brand.
Amazon.com
In Giftronaut Choice Card selections for US products, from orders placed January 2025 to August 2026, Amazon.com ranked first. The Visa Virtual Reward Card came second and Walmart third. Amazon’s Gift Card Terms and Conditions, last updated in March 2025, say no fees apply to Amazon.com gift cards and the balance doesn’t expire.
Each Amazon card is issued for one country and currency. That means an Amazon.co.uk card can’t be redeemed on Amazon.com.
Target
As of October 2026, Giftronaut’s Target eGift listing reads “No fees. No expiration.” The card works at more than 1,900 Target stores in the US and on Target.com. It suits a US team that shops for home goods, electronics, and clothing.
Walmart
Walmart ranked third in those same US Choice Card selections. As of October 2026, Giftronaut’s Walmart eGift Card listing says the card doesn’t expire and never charges fees. It works at Walmart.com or in a Walmart store, in the US only.

See How Choice Card Works →Which card fits employees and which fits clients?
A single brand works when you know where people shop, like a US team that buys groceries at Walmart. Clients and mixed teams are harder to read, so it’s safer to leave the brand open. For anyone outside the US, the card has to work where they live.
| Who you’re gifting | Card | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A US team with everyday needs | Walmart, Target, or Amazon.com | Familiar stores, no fee to use the card |
| A team with mixed tastes | Choice Card | Each person picks the brand |
| Clients you don’t know well | Choice Card with your logo | White Label carries your logo from the email to the redemption page |
| Employees or clients in other countries | Choice Card or Global Visa Reward Card | Recipients pick their country and currency; the Visa card works abroad |
Walmart and most US brand cards work in the US only. Giftronaut offers local gift cards in 71 countries, in 51 currencies. So one order can reach a client in London and a sales rep in Chicago.
White Label also carries your button color through the reward email and the redemption pages. According to Giftronaut’s how-it-works page, White Label is normally an optional one-time $100 per company account. As of October 2026, it’s free as a trial. For employee rewards, each card’s own conditions are in our list of 15 digital gift cards for employee rewards with no fees.
What does a company actually pay for corporate gift cards?
A company pays the face value of each card, with no subscription, platform, setup, or per-card fee. Extra costs come only from card funding and cash payouts. There’s no minimum order beyond a $100 deposit, and volume discounts exist for eligible high-volume programs.

Funding the account
Giftronaut’s pricing page lists a 3% processing fee on credit card deposits, charged on the amount you add, not on each card. ACH and wire funding are free, and deposits start at $100. On an illustrative $2,000 deposit, card funding adds $60 and ACH adds nothing.
The same split applies if you ask for unused balance back. ACH and wire refunds are free, while up to 4% can be deducted from a balance funded by card.
Corporate gift cards with no activation fee
Giftronaut charges no activation or per-card fee on gift cards or prepaid cards. Traditional Visa gift cards work differently. As of October 2026, the Giftronaut Help Center puts their purchase or activation fees at about $3 to $7 per card. At $5 a card, 100 cards add $500 without adding any value for recipients.
To check the fee on a specific Visa card before you buy, see the Visa fee breakdown in the Help Center.
Cash payouts through PayPal or Venmo
Giftronaut’s bulk gift card page lists a payout fee of 4% (minimum $0.25) if you cover it, or 6% (minimum $1) if the recipient does. Recipients cover it by default. So a $100 payout leaves the recipient $94, or costs you $104 if you cover the fee.
Before you cover the fee, check how it works on a Choice Card with payouts enabled. There, it’s charged for every recipient in the order, even those who pick a gift card.
Value nobody redeems
A Giftronaut reward expires 180 days after sending, and with no Refund Option, unredeemed value isn’t returned. The Refund Option is selected when you place the order. You pick a 30-, 60-, or 90-day deadline and get back 50%, 40%, or 30% of unredeemed value to your Giftronaut account balance.

How do you buy corporate gift cards without paying fees?
Buy digital cards through a gifting platform with no per-card fee, and fund it by ACH or wire. Store-bought prepaid cards usually add a fee to every card. Buying brand by brand means a separate order for each store.
The three usual routes for a company buyer differ mostly in fees and in who picks the brand.
- Prepaid cards from a store: traditional Visa gift cards usually carry a purchase or activation fee on each card. Physical cards can also add shipping and replacement fees.
- One brand at a time: each order covers a single store, so recipients can’t pick another brand.
- A gifting platform with no per-card fee: one account sends any brand or a Choice Card at face value. With ACH or wire funding, nothing is added on top.

How can a platform charge no fees?
Giftronaut earns a margin from many of the brands in its catalog. That revenue pays for the platform, so you pay for the rewards instead of subscriptions or per-seat licenses.

Keep every gift at full value
Match the card to who gets it, with a single brand for a US team and an open choice for clients and mixed groups. Then fund by ACH or wire, and leave payouts off unless people want cash.

See every cost before you send: ACH and wire funding are free, and credit card funding carries a 3% processing fee.
